UMO Girls” team

We are Valeria and Sophia.
We go to the Untermosen school (UMO) in Wädenswil. We are taking part in the WRO for the 2nd time this year. This time in the Junior age group.
We met for the first time in December 2023 and discussed how to proceed with our coach.

The tasks were then published in January. As we already had our material, we built the game objects at the first meeting and the second meeting. We also made a schedule, just like last year.

In January we were ready to finish Robbi (our robot) mechanically – we might have to change it again, but we hope not.

Since we did a bit of advertising with our responsible IT teacher at school, there are now several WRO teams at our school. We have been given 2
rooms that we can use at certain times during the week. The existing gaming tables are also located there.

We made the first programs at the meetings in February. We had already measured and written down the parameters for the fork positions beforehand. We
are very excited to see if we are a little quicker with the programming this time than last year.
