Ob der Roboter wohl tut was er sagt?

There is a shortage of female engineers and computer scientists in Switzerland. This is not least due to the lack of female role models in the STEM field and the widespread gender stereotypes.

We are convinced that girls are attracted by the creative possibilities of STEM subjects, and girls need to be approached differently! ==> Both are possible with the World Robot Olympiad!

Robotics sets for girls’ teams

Girls’ teams can borrow a robotics set free of charge for the duration of a season.
If the girls continue to take part in the WRO the following year, they can keep the robot for that long.
In return, the girls’ teams create articles for the girls’ blog.

Robotics workshops for girls

We offer special robotics workshops for girls.
These can take place online or on site.
There are workshops for beginners and advanced students.
We are planning another robotics camp for girls in fall 2024.

Girls Blog

Girls write articles for the Girls Blog to share their experiences with robotics and motivate other girls.
