Long ago, groups of people built great cities and created their own culture. Some of these groups have disappeared, but others have preserved their traditions and passed them on to their children. Today, we can still admire old buildings and special objects that remind us of how people lived in the past. Museums help to protect these treasures so that everyone can learn from them. They show us how creative people were, what they believed in and what was important to them.
Now it’s your job to keep this story alive. You can collect treasures and bring them safely to the museum. You can also carry on the traditions and try out things that people still do today, such as playing an old ball game or helping families move their houseboats.
