«WRO Starter» is the robotics program offered by WRO Switzerland for the youngest roboticians. We offer a course in which children aged 6 to 10 can gain their first experience with a Lego robot. The goal is that the children participate in the Starter competitions.

• For girls and boys from 6 to 10 years old
• No previous knowledge required
• Programming with image blocks
• Participation in the course and the competition is free of charge
• Registration for the course for each child via the registration link at the bottom of the page. If not already done and free places are available, registration for the competition can be made during the course.

• An exciting task (for information, here are the tasks for 2025):
• For teams with 2 or 3 children – If you already have a partner, you can register together. Otherwise you can find a partner at the courses.
• Support from a coach (parent, teacher, other person over the age of 18)

We offer workshops in which the children can learn the basics of robotics and prepare for the tasks of the competition with the support of a specialist. The workshops are spread over four dates. The following applies:

• 2x Basics of robotics
• 2x concrete preparation for the competition

Children who already have previous experience with Lego robots can also come to just the two competition-related workshops. Please register your child for the workshop and contact us.
