Please note the amended section 11.3 in the general regulations:
The robot must be brought to the competition assembled. From this year onwards, there will be no long construction phase at the start of the competition day.
The main reason for the change is the new specifications for the robot in Chapter 5 of the general regulations. Section 5.2 states that any materials and components may be used for the construction of the robot as long as the criteria listed below are met. Depending on the robot type and design, it is not possible to disassemble the robot into individual parts. In order to make the framework conditions for the competition as fair as possible, the previously required assembly at the beginning of the competition day is therefore no longer necessary for all robots. All teams can therefore bring their fully assembled robots to the competition.
