Sometimes it happens that an object is already at its destination in a safe corner or in the museum and then interferes when the robot has to be aligned for the next journey. In such a case, the team can move the object by hand. The following applies:

  1. Before the movement, the referee must be asked to look carefully. It is best to shout “Referee, look!” continuously. The object may only be moved once the referee has confirmed that he/she is looking.
  2. The object may only be touched by hand if it is completely within the safe zone.
  3. The object may only be moved within the same safe zone, not from one safe zone to another.
  4. No more points may be scored as a result of the movement: For example, a column that has fallen over may not be righted, and an object that was previously only partially in the zone may not be pushed in completely.

If these rules are not observed, 2 points are deducted for unauthorized touching. Points are not awarded for objects that have been moved without permission.
