For the teams in the WRO Starter category, there are two parts to the competition at the Swiss finals :<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. In the morning there is the annual task<\/strong><\/em>. This is the same task as in the Regional Competitions, just with a different surprise task.\n

    There isa test phase<\/strong> of 30 minutes and a scoring run<\/strong>.
    If a team is not satisfied with the scoring run because the test runs were better, the team can repeat<\/strong> the run immediately<\/strong>. (Mulligan rule).
    In this case, the team must tell the referee that it wants to repeat the run before the score sheet is signed<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

    The referee then destroys the score sheet of the first attempt and the second attempt counts in any case<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. In the afternoon there is the afternoon challenge<\/strong><\/em>. The known objects on the playing field are placed differently and new, unknown objects can also be added. This means that a completely new task, consisting of several subtasks, has to be solved. There are no other surprise tasks; after all, the whole afternoon challenge is a big surprise!\n

    The same rules<\/strong> apply in the afternoon challenge as in the annual challenge<\/strong>, and there is also a time limit of 120 seconds per run.<\/p>\n

    There are three test phases<\/strong> of 45 minutes \/ 30 minutes \/ 30 minutes each with one scoring run.<\/strong> These runs cannot be repeated<\/b>. The two best runs count towards the result. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
