When our robot arrived last week, we were delighted and immediately arranged to meet up that evening to unpack it together. That was very exciting as neither of us had ever done anything with a Spike Prime or seen one in real life. We’ve both done a lot of programming and built a lot of Lego, but we still had to figure out how the robot works. We built a first chassis with two wheels and an ultrasonic sensor at the front and started our first programming attempt. We actually managed to create not only a first program, but also a working one! That made us very happy! The robot kept going straight until it was just before a wall, where it stopped a few centimeters away.

When we looked at the clock at some point, we realized that we had already been building and programming for two hours. Unfortunately, we soon had to stop so that it wouldn’t be too late because we had school again the next day… The time flew by and we both really enjoyed it!
