Registration for the 2025 season will open in December.
General information
Registration is carried out by the coach (18+ years), a parent or a teacher. If you would like to participate as a team member, please ask your coach or teacher to register you.
Schedule
- You register on our registration site (your credentials from a previous season can be used again).
- Now you can register your team(s). You can also enter an additional contact person for each team. To get started, you only need the team name, the competition category and age group as well as the competition location. All other data (e.g. the date of birth of the team members) can be added later, but it must be completed by March 15, 2024. Please make sure to select the correct competition: In some venues, we offer both RoboMission and Future Innovators events.
Also note: The age group refers to the year of birth: How old will the team member be at the end of the year 2024? - Fill out the declaration of consent for each person, have it signed, scan or photograph it and upload it to the registration page!
Costs
There is a registration fee of CHF 100.– per team. This amount will be refunded after participation in a regional competition.

Teams need for participation:
- A Lego Robotics kit (SPIKE Prime, Robot Inventor orEV3):
The current SPIKE Prime kit can be bought e.g.from our partner Educatec (please note that you’re participating in WRO) oder rented from our Shop. - Recommended: Table top with borders (assembly instructions)
The registration fee includes:
- A game mat
- BothLego brick sets (Basic set Nr. 45811 und Expansion set Nr. 45819) for teams that participate for the first time.
Additional fame mats or brick sets can be ordered at cost from our Shop.
More info Future Innovators
In the Future Innovators category, the teams develop a robot prototype and present it and the associated research project to the jury. They are free in their choice of robotics technology, i.e. in addition to Lego robots, they can also use Raspberry Pi, Arduino or other technologies. At the competition, they are provided with partition walls and a table, but the teams have to provide everything else themselves.

Do you need specific support for your participation in the WRO competitions due to a physical impairment, disability or chronic illness? Please contact Markus Born directly. We will of course treat your details confidentially and do our best to ensure that everyone can participate fairly.
We also do not want a team to have to forgo participation for financial reasons. We have a hardship fund from which we can provide support for participation in our competitions if required. Please also contact Markus directly in this case.
